Flower Art Museum
17th october 2020 – 10th january 2021
“Earth laughs in flowers” is a famous phrase in the poem of Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882). He thought people should appreciate nature. In his poem Emerson gives a voice to mother earth. Mother earth thinks it is rather funny people think they can control her, which is so far beyond truth!
During the pandemic we literally had to stand still. The air got cleaner, we experienced the power of nature. The museum selected five artists working on this theme for this exhibition. ‘Aarden’ was part of the exhibition.
